Coil Racks

Coil racks are ideal for those who have heavy coils that are difficult to store, such as steel coils. Since these coils cannot be stacked on each other without causing damage, the coils take up a lot of room. A Tier-Rack® coil rack allows the coils to be protected from creasing and flattening, while permitting the coils to be stacked 4 or 5 high in the racks. This opens up a large amount of valuable floor space for other uses. 

The portable racks also provide security for the coils as they are being moved in your operation. It is often faster and easier for a forklift truck to pick up a loaded rack than a loose coil. In some applications the stacking racks are also used to stage the coils, and the product in the roll can be fed directly into the production process from the rack.
