Our portable stacking racks are designed to handle and store even the most fragile, odd-shaped and awkward merchandise. They can be designed to transport two loads at a time. Our stack racks reduce handling time, stack four to six high, and they are capable of supporting thousands of pounds per unit load. All styles of racking are engineered to meet and/or exceed the "2-to-1" safety factor established by the Rack Manufacturers Institute for portable rack design specifications.

How Tier-Rack® Stacking Racks Work

Individual racks can be moved by pallet jacks or forklifts. Each rack can be stacked on top of other racks to create a column of three to six racks, depending on the size of the rack and the weight of the load in the racks. Empty racks save space when the posts or side frames are removed from the bases.

Many Tier-Rack® stacking racks consist of a base and removable corner posts or side frames. The posts and frames can be made in varying heights to accommodate your loads. Side frames and posts can also be made with hinged attachments so they fold onto the base.
